About the Role
Primary Care Careers is seeking a highly skilled and organized Receptionist / Care Navigator to join our front-of-house team. As a Receptionist / Care Navigator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical center, providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and direct patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
- Manage appointment bookings, ensuring efficient scheduling and minimal wait times.
- Process prescriptions, letters, and other patient documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Support the on-duty team, providing assistance as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a clear and polite telephone manner.
- Ability to work in a confidential and discreet manner, respecting patient confidentiality at all times.
- Experience working with the general public, being sensitive and empathetic in distressing situations.
- Confidence to work as part of a team and ability to think on your feet.
- Strong IT and administration skills, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
