The Limes Medical Centre is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Coordinator to join our front-of-house team. We have two part-time vacancies available, with varying schedules to ensure our patients receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and direct patients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage appointment bookings, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare providers.
- Process prescriptions, letters, and other patient documents with accuracy and efficiency.
- Respond to patient inquiries, resolve issues, and provide clear guidance on practice procedures.
- Register new patients and maintain accurate health records.
- Support our on-duty team and contribute to a positive, patient-centric environment.
- Answer phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a clear and polite telephone manner.
- Ability to work in a confidential and discreet manner, respecting patients' privacy at all times.
- Experience working with the general public, demonstrating empathy and sensitivity in challenging situations.
- Confidence in working as part of a team and ability to think critically and solve problems.
- Strong IT and administrative skills, with proficiency in medical software and systems.
- Previous medical or healthcare receptionist experience is highly desirable.
