Position Overview

Novakid School, a leading English language institution for children aged 4-12, is seeking a committed individual to join our Content Department as an Editor/Proofreader. In this essential role, you will contribute significantly to the development of our online English as a Second Language program, adhering to European CEFR standards. If you have a strong affinity for language education, exceptional editing and proofreading abilities, and a commitment to enhancing educational experiences, we invite you to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and proofread educational materials, including lessons, homework assignments, and assessments, ensuring alignment with Novakid's standards and philosophy.
  • Create content that is engaging, enjoyable, and educational for young learners.
  • Participate in the content review process, providing constructive feedback to enhance quality.
  • Observe classes to evaluate the effectiveness of the educational materials.
  • Continuously improve existing content to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate on multimedia content editing and proofreading tasks.
  • Ensure all materials are inclusive and culturally sensitive.
  • Proactively recommend enhancements and improvements to content.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly G Suite.
  • Degree in a relevant field (English or Education).
  • At least 2 years of experience in editing and proofreading educational content or children's literature.
  • Native English speaker with educational background from the UK or USA.
