Medical Staffing Coordinator

Job Overview
The Division of Surgery at BHRUT NHS is seeking a highly skilled Medical Staffing Coordinator to join their team. This is a critical role that requires a motivated individual with experience in medical rota coordination. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with different levels of staff, and have a flexible approach to meeting deadlines.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating medical staffing for the trauma and orthopaedics service, ensuring adequate cover for annual, study, and sick leave.
- Acting as the main point of contact for medical rostering, providing administrative support to senior staff, and managing medical staff management.
- Providing accurate and timely information related to medical staff management, including compliance with New Deal requirements, appraisals, and monitoring leave.
- Working closely with senior staff to develop processes that support junior doctors in their employment within BHRUT NHS.
- Managing and coordinating annual and study leave, minimizing medical locum usage while ensuring adequate cover.
