Job Overview

The Division of Surgery at BHRUT NHS is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Medical Staffing Coordinator. This position plays a critical role in the smooth operation of our services, and the ideal candidate will possess experience in medical rota co-ordination within an NHS setting.

Main Responsibilities

As Medical Staffing Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and resolving complex staffing issues, utilizing your initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Providing administrative support to the General Manager, Service Manager, Clinical Care Group Director, Clinical Director, and Specialty Leads in managing medical staffing.
  • Coordinating annual and study leave, ensuring that medical locum usage is minimized, and that rotas are published and distributed in a timely manner.
  • Working closely with the Clinical Director and General Manager to develop processes that support junior doctors in their employment within BHRUT.
