Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Administrator to become a vital part of our Payroll and Shared Services team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processes.

As a Payroll Administrator, you will deliver precise and timely administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle, adhering to employment laws and company policies.

Your responsibilities will include managing payroll operations efficiently, ensuring accuracy in both weekly and monthly payroll cycles.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, offering a competitive salary and the chance to work with a leading organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Payroll inbox and promptly address payroll inquiries.
  • Assist in the processing of payrolls, ensuring accurate input of timesheets and compliance with established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and absences, ensuring timely processing of statutory payments.
  • Set up and manage deductions within the payroll system, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee pension communications in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute payslips in a timely manner via the self-service platform.
  • Generate payroll reports using payroll systems and Excel, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  • Communicate any payroll overpayments to facilitate timely recovery.
  • Collaborate with the HR Shared Services team to provide an effective service to all employees.
  • Work with the Payroll Shared Services Manager to maintain accurate employment contracts and terms.
  • Report any discrepancies to the Payroll Shared Services Manager.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as directed.

Required Qualifications:

To be considered for the Payroll Administrator position, candidates should possess the following:

  • Experience in a fast-paced payroll environment is preferred, though training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create detailed reports using Pivot Tables.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Outlook.
  • Experience with payroll systems is advantageous, but training will be available.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing processes and circumstances.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of confidentiality requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to personal development and professional growth.
  • Professional demeanor in all interactions.
