Role Responsibilities:

As a Lead Residential Care Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Working collaboratively with the team to promote the positive growth of young individuals, ensuring a secure and supportive atmosphere.
  • Assisting the Service Manager in the effective daily operations and delivery of high-quality care.
  • Leading a team in providing specialized care, tailored to the individual needs of each child.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation, including incident reports, progress assessments, and care strategies.
  • Acting as a positive influence for both staff and children, addressing their daily requirements and fostering trust and development.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 12 months in a child-focused, therapeutic setting.
  • Certification: Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
  • Driving Credentials: A valid UK driving license is required.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work extended shifts, weekends, and on-call duties.
  • Eligibility: Must possess the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: Over 2 years in a comparable position is advantageous.
  • Additional Certifications: Further qualifications in child care or therapeutic support are preferred.
