Culina Group is seeking a dedicated Inventory Management Specialist to become a vital part of our operations team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Salary: £26,000-£29,000 per annum.
Working Schedule: 4 on 4 off, 6pm-6am.
The primary role of the Inventory Management Specialist is to oversee the daily activities within the Inventory Control and Warehouse Administration sector, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and promptly to facilitate smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities of an Inventory Management Specialist:
Accurately inputting all pre-advises of incoming goods in a timely manner. Notifying customers of any pre-advice not received within the agreed timeframe to ensure swift resolution. Collaborating with the Stock & Administration Controllers to support and complete stock counts, PI, inventory investigations, and other essential inventory functions. Conducting physical stock audits as necessary and thoroughly investigating any stock discrepancies. Replenishing picking locations as required. Communicating any stock adjustments to customers in a timely and professional manner. Generating pick notes, delivery, and post-picking documentation accurately and in accordance with operational timelines. Ensuring that all relevant KPI reporting documents are accurately maintained. Performing other administrative tasks accurately and within set deadlines. Reviewing daily incident reports and undertaking necessary investigations to achieve resolutions.Required Qualifications
Familiarity with inventory control processes and procedures. Proficient knowledge and experience with a Warehouse Management System, preferably Manhattan, and RFWMS. Understanding of warehouse operations, including goods receipt, picking, and dispatch. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A flexible approach to work, with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.Additional Information
