About the Role

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Fellow to join our Rheumatology team. As a Senior Clinical Fellow, you will play a key role in providing a high-quality service in Rheumatology, working closely with other trainees and healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a service in Rheumatology, working in conjunction with other trainees to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the departmental On-Call service, responding to ward referrals and patient issues in the Emergency Department, supported by the ACP.
  • Provide cover for other Senior Clinical Fellows during periods of leave.
  • Contribute to medical audit and research, working with other trainees to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Ensure that clinical governance requirements are met, working with other trainees to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Ensure that hospital staff involved in patient care can contact you when necessary, maintaining effective communication and collaboration.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Rheumatology.
  • MRCP(UK) or equivalent qualification.
