About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Imaging Specialist to join our team at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. As a key member of our clinical photography service, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality images of patients' conditions, providing expert advice to medical staff, and contributing to the development of our imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capture high-quality still and video images of clinical conditions using a variety of equipment and techniques.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to medical staff on clinical photography best practices and techniques.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure accurate and effective imaging.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement imaging protocols and guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and apply this knowledge to improve our services.
  • Contribute to the development of our imaging services, including the design and implementation of new imaging protocols and guidelines.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Qualified Clinical Photographer with experience in dermatology photography.
  • Valid full UK driving licence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
