About the Role

Job Summary

Verisk Maplecroft is seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join its growing Technology team. This role will oversee the development and delivery of our risk analytics data platform, ensuring seamless integration with our existing SaaS solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CTO and Head of Software to develop and implement the company's Technology Strategy, aligning technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Work closely with the Head of Product to define, maintain, and manage the development roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Oversee resource allocation and cross-team alignment on multi-disciplinary projects, prioritizing tasks and justifying resource requirements.
  • Lead the release process, working with Developers, Project Owners, UX designers, and QA engineers to ensure successful deployment of user-focused improvements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the wider business and clients, managing risks and expectations.
  • Manage and orchestrate the index data release/update process, liaising with multiple business functions and serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Identify opportunities to improve code quality, development processes, and team satisfaction, championing coding standards and compliance.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in clear and concise ways.
  • Proven track record of overseeing commercial application development, adhering to industry standards for code quality and security.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with experience using tooling such as Excel and PowerBI to collect and work with data.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive projects forward, make tough decisions, and operate under pressure.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring documentation is up to date and relevant.
  • Strategic mindset, aligning technology initiatives with broader business goals and anticipating future needs and trends.
  • Ability to understand and map technical dependencies between projects and architectural components.
  • Excellent knowledge of the agile development framework and Rest APIs.
