About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Tesco Partners. As a Duty Pharmacy Manager, you will play a key role in leading and managing our pharmacy operations, ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service and deliver high-quality healthcare services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Management: You will be responsible for managing the supply of prescriptions, delivering a range of NHS and private services, and providing healthcare advice to customers.
  • Community Engagement: You will play an active role in our charity support program, providing advice and support to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
  • Team Leadership: You will support the Pharmacy Manager in leading, training, and developing colleagues to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Business Development: You will work closely with the Pharmacy Manager to build relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries, identifying opportunities to improve our services and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: You will ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items, managing our finances effectively to ensure that we are operating within budget.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: You will have a Pharmacy Degree and be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). You will also be willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
  • Experience: You will have experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality services and leading teams to achieve excellent results.
  • Skills: You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
