About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced People Manager to join our team at Lynn Bennett Resourcing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing the People Services team to deliver a high-quality customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage the People Services Team: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the People Services team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that the team is working efficiently.
  • Develop and Implement the People Strategy: Work closely with the Director of Operations to create, develop, and implement the People Strategy, which will support the strategic plan and drive business growth.
  • Recruitment, Training, and Development: Lead and manage the recruitment, training, and development of colleagues, ensuring that they have the skills and capabilities needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Employee Engagement and Wellbeing: Promote a healthy working environment, organizing and supporting health and wellbeing initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Performance Management and Development: Manage ongoing People Services activities, including performance reviews, reward and recognition, benefits, and renewals process, succession planning, and hybrid working policies.
  • Employee Relations and Advice: Provide advice and guidance on all people-related matters, overseeing employee relations activity and ensuring that all employees are treated fairly and consistently.
  • Investors in People Accreditation: Lead the continued development and implementation of the HR System, ensuring that it is aligned with the People Strategy and supports business objectives.
  • Employee Forum: Lead and chair the Employee Forum, ensuring that employee voices are heard and that their concerns are addressed.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: A track record of operating at both a strategic and operational level, developing and implementing strategic People Services interventions that add value.
  • HR Professional: A credible HR professional with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence across all stakeholder levels and build positive, professional relationships.
  • Commercial Awareness: Has integrity, commerciality, and takes accountability for the People Services function overall.
  • Qualifications: Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualified.
  • Commercial Experience: Experience of working in a commercial, service-led organization would be an advantage.
