People Development Specialist

Fenwick is seeking a highly skilled and motivated People Development Specialist to join our People Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our People Partners and the business in three key areas:
- Employee Relations: Case Management, providing expert advice and guidance to line managers and employees.
- Insights and Data Analysis: Producing monthly and quarterly reports to inform business decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Policy Development and Change Projects: Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the business.
As a People Development Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing case management and advice in line with our people policies and current employment legislation.
- Tracking and triaging case management workload and escalating to the People Partners where appropriate.
- Using influence and coaching skills to support case managers to resolve issues within Service Level Agreement (SLA) timescales.
- Creating insights for areas showing Employee Relations activity and highlighting issues that are affecting the business.
- Identifying gaps in policies and procedures and working with stakeholders to implement improvements.
Key qualifications and skills for this role include:
- A can-do attitude with energy, drive, and a passion for delivering excellent support services to key stakeholders.
- Being in your first or early stages of your HR career as a HR Advisor, you will have gained exposure to Employee Relations cases and have a good understanding of HR and Employment Law.
- Confident in using sound judgement and problem-solving skills to support resolution.
- Empathetic and able to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Curious and enjoy creating reports and looking at trend analysis to support focus for the People Team.
- Excel experience including using VLOOKUP and macros.
