Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced School Health Team Leader to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide clinical and professional leadership to our school nursing teams, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive and high-quality services to children, young people, and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to 5-19 public health nursing (school nursing) teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement innovative public health programs that address the unique needs of our school-aged population.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across various disciplines to ensure seamless integration of services.
  • Mentor and support team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making data-driven adjustments to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife with a specialization in Community Public Health Nursing or School Nursing.
  • Current NMC registration and evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing healthcare teams.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of best practices in school health.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
