Position: Community Care Supervisor

Location: Brighton & Hove Branch

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £23,000

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Community Care Supervisor to represent Cera and become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting initial introductions, developing care plans, performing client evaluations, and accompanying Care Workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. The position entails spending a significant portion of your time in the field, with a smaller fraction allocated to administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the ongoing supervision of care staff
  • Ensure that client needs are consistently met
  • Support your team in delivering safe and high-quality care
  • Conduct meet and greet sessions for all new care packages
  • Possess local knowledge to enhance service delivery
  • Complete and review care plans
  • Conduct risk assessments
  • Perform audits of medication administration records and logs
  • Carry out spot checks and field supervision of care staff
  • Participate in the recruitment process and assist with compliance
  • Attend provider meetings and contribute to business development
  • Engage in hands-on care as needed
  • Participate in out-of-hours on-call duties
  • Contribute to team meetings

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Demonstrated work history in the care sector
  • Strong understanding of the care industry
  • Passionate about providing care
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Proficient in IT
  • Highly organized
  • NVQ qualification is desirable but not mandatory
