Position: Technical Analyst for Store Solutions at Card Factory Group

As a Technical Analyst, you will leverage your knowledge of retail technology, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and data management platforms to develop effective solutions. Your outstanding analytical skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and flexibility will be essential as you implement technical enhancements and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide second-line support for various retail technology applications
  • Work closely with the Service Team to troubleshoot issues and communicate effectively with users
  • Proactively oversee and maintain systems to ensure peak performance
  • Contribute your technical knowledge to significant projects aimed at system improvements
  • Diagnose root causes and implement sustainable solutions for technical challenges
  • Ensure all retail technology solutions are functional and improve user satisfaction
  • Maintain vigilance in application monitoring and upkeep to avert potential issues
  • Foster continuous enhancement in operational methodologies

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience in a retail setting providing second-line support
  • Familiarity with retail technology applications such as EPOS Systems and IM2 Retail
  • Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP and Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Experience with systems integration and data transformation tools such as Dell Boomi and SSIS
  • Understanding of reporting technologies including SSRS and Power BI
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Strong organizational skills to manage technical changes and multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficient in technical documentation
  • Ability to engage with users and stakeholders across all levels
  • Adaptability to meet changing business requirements
