Position: Applications Support Analyst at Card Factory Group

Your outstanding analytical skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and flexibility will be essential as you facilitate technical improvements and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide second-line support for a variety of retail technology applications
  • Work closely with the Service Team to troubleshoot issues and maintain clear communication with end-users
  • Monitor and optimize system performance proactively
  • Offer technical insights for significant enhancement projects
  • Identify underlying issues and establish enduring solutions for technical challenges
  • Ensure operational readiness of all retail technology solutions to improve user experience
  • Maintain vigilance in application monitoring and upkeep to avert potential problems
  • Promote ongoing improvements in operational methodologies

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience in a retail setting providing second-line support
  • Familiarity with retail technology applications such as EPOS Systems and IM2 Retail
  • Understanding of ERP systems like SAP and Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Experience with systems integration and data transformation tools such as Dell Boomi and SSIS
  • Knowledge of reporting technologies including SSRS and Power BI
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Strong organizational skills to manage technical transitions and multiple responsibilities
  • Proficient in technical documentation
  • Ability to engage with users and stakeholders across all levels
  • Adaptability to meet changing business requirements
