We've played a crucial role in responding to emergencies, supporting the NHS, and empowering individuals with first aid skills. As we move forward, we're seeking passionate and experienced individuals to join our Board of Trustees.

Trustee Role: Fundraising & Impact Leader

We are looking for a dedicated individual with a proven track record in fundraising at a senior level to contribute their expertise to our Board. This role is crucial in shaping our strategic direction and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our vital services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in quarterly Board meetings, contributing your insights and expertise to guide St John Ambulance Cymru's strategic direction.
  • Engage with Standing Committees, such as Audit, Risk & Governance, People, Financial Resource, Fundraising & Engagement, Digital & Data, Priory Honours & Awards, providing valuable contributions to their deliberations.
  • Leverage your fundraising expertise to develop and implement innovative strategies that secure the resources needed to deliver our mission.
  • Collaborate with fellow Trustees and staff to ensure effective governance and financial management of the organization.
  • Champion St John Ambulance Cymru's values and mission, acting as an ambassador for our work within your network.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Proven success in fundraising at a senior level, with a deep understanding of diverse funding sources and strategies.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • A commitment to St John Ambulance Cymru's mission and values, and a passion for making a positive impact on communities.
