About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rapid Response Care Worker to join our team at Homecarers Cheshire. As a Rapid Response Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing short-term care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them to regain their independence and confidence.

The ideal candidate will have a full, clean driving license and access to their own vehicle, as they will be required to attend calls on a last-minute basis due to sickness or urgent referrals. You will be working in the Winsford and Northwich area, covering a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

As a Rapid Response Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our service users, including assisting with daily living tasks, providing emotional support, and helping individuals to maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to service users in their own homes
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to service users

  • Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of service users
Requirements
  • Full, clean driving license and access to own vehicle
  • Experience of working in a care or support role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care and support
