Adult Care Support Worker

Job Type: Permanent, Part Time (5 hour, 16 hour, and 32 hour contracts available)
Archangel Care is a leading provider of Supported Living Accommodation and Outreach Support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues.
We tailor our support to help individuals live a happy and fulfilled life, assisting them to access the community and complete everyday tasks such as shopping, cooking, finances, and housework.
We welcome candidates with or without experience in care, as we provide full training in preparing candidates for their role and pay candidates to complete their training.
Our staff have a lot of control over their pay, which includes weekly or monthly pay and flexible options for accrued holiday pay. Plus, we pay a mileage contribution and factor travel time into your pay when applicable.
We have a generous bonus scheme which includes a payment of £170 for completing your probationary period (for full-time contracts), and we have a refer-a-friend scheme which will pay £200 to the person that makes the referral once the new candidate has completed their probationary period.
Our customers are all very different with their own individual needs and interests, and we plan our work to ensure you routinely work with the same customers, helping you to provide high quality, consistent care.
Hours and Pay
- We have a variety of shifts available including earlies, lates, one-to-ones, and sleeping shifts.
- Working alternate weekends is essential.
- We can offer full-time and part-time contracts: 5 hours, 16 hours, or 32 hours - permanent contracts.
- Sleep shift hours are additional £4.44 per hour with enhancements for overtime - £12.25 per hour for overtime in the week, £12.50 for overtime at the weekend, and up to double time for festive bank holidays.
- Sleep shifts (attached to an early or a late shift) are paid at £6.50 per hour (11am-7am).
