Job Title: Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified

About the Role:

EdEx - Education Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified to join our team of specialist staff at a reputable Primary School in Ealing. As an Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with various Special Educational Needs, creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to pupils with Autism, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with the inclusion team to develop and implement tailored programs, ensuring a seamless transition between lessons.
  • Assist in managing the classroom environment, maintaining a safe and organized space for pupils to learn and thrive.
  • Work closely with specialist teachers, therapists, and inclusion staff to deliver high-quality support and services.

Requirements:

  • Passion for education and creating an inclusive environment for all pupils.
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a special educational needs setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
