About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Use Nurse to join our team at Turning Point. As a Substance Use Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance misuse issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective health interventions to individuals with substance use disorders
  • Manage and coordinate detoxification programs for patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and provide counseling services to individuals and families affected by substance use
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements

  • Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council
  • Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
