As a Substance Misuse Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing front-line clinical care to service users, including a thorough rehabilitation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to service users, including vaccinations, health promotion, and rehabilitation.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify service users' needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to service users, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in substance misuse treatment.

Requirements:

  • Current and valid registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
  • Passion for working with individuals affected by substance misuse and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
