Location: Southwark

Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £27, £31,529.41 pro rata (based on experience)

Additional Compensation: £4,072.06 Inner London Weighting, pro rata

Key Responsibilities

Team-Oriented Environment: Collaborate with healthcare professionals in GP settings to provide support for individuals facing substance use challenges.

Role Responsibilities:

Guide service users through their treatment and recovery journey. Conduct screenings, assessments, psychosocial interventions, recovery planning, and referrals. Encourage involvement from carers, service users, and the community. Advocate for access to partnership services. Work alongside professionals in GP settings to assist individuals with substance use issues.

Candidate Profile:

Knowledge of substance misuse issues and relevant experience. Familiarity with clinical prescribing matters. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with proficiency in IT. Self-motivated, capable of working independently with effective time management. Experience in community support practices. A supportive team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Relevant qualifications in nursing, counseling, social work, or substance misuse are preferred. Ability to work autonomously.

This is a fixed-term contract opportunity.

Please note that this role is not eligible for a Health and Care Worker visa. You may qualify for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route if you meet the minimum salary criteria.
