About N-able

N-able is a software company that is expanding its Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team and contribute to our data-driven decision-making process.

Job Summary

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for providing insightful analysis to aid in business decisions. This role will work closely with the existing FP&A and Sales compensation teams, as well as cross-functionally across N-able.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the existing FP&A and Sales compensation teams to develop and maintain financial models and reports.
  • Create, improve, maintain, and analyze billings and product reporting.
  • QA monthly billing results, validating with Salesforce and Billing Systems.
  • Evaluate internal processes and reporting for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain procedures for cleaning data.
  • Work directly with managers and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships.
  • Create and maintain documentation.
  • Complete ad hoc projects, reporting, and analysis as required.

Requirements

  • Must have strong Sales Operations or FP&A experience in a software organization.
  • Excellent visualization creation experience (Tableau, Power BI) with strong attention to detail focusing on completeness and accuracy of information.
  • Strong and Proficient Microsoft Excel skills leveraging best practices for scalability.
  • Ability and desire to understand the details, synthesize them, and effectively communicate findings verbally and in writing.
  • Inclination towards solving problems and articulating findings from complex datasets to communicate insights & translate into actionable next steps.
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to prioritize effectively, achieve commitments and deliver results with a sense of urgency.
  • Team player with the ability to partner at all levels of the organization as well as work independently.
