Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Coordinator to join our specialist housing team at Platform Housing Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, as well as supporting the delivery of events and activities within our villages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake regular cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for residents and staff.
  • Report any wellbeing or safeguarding concerns to the Retirement Housing Officer team in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with colleagues and residents to deliver a high-quality service and ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Assist with the set-up, delivery, and clear-up of events, activities, and social functions.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to colleagues in a timely manner to ensure the safety of colleagues and residents.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures associated with cleaning and maintenance.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to show empathy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Confidence using digital devices, ICT software, and systems.
  • An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
  • Full UK driving license.
