GLL is seeking a dedicated Senior Library Assistant to enhance our team at Skegness Library, contributing 17 hours per week. In this role, you will be part of a vibrant community-centered library, providing access to a diverse range of collections and resources, including literature, public access technology, and local history archives.
Your Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors into a clean, safe, and inviting environment, ensuring they have access to valuable resources that encourage repeat visits.
- Engage with a diverse clientele, understanding their needs and assisting them in discovering our extensive range of services.
- Organize and facilitate engaging activities for children and families, including storytelling sessions and creative workshops.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies for children and vulnerable individuals, ensuring a secure environment for all.
- Participate actively in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and service delivery.

- Previous experience in library settings is preferred.
