About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gas Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sewell Group. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks across our property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial heating and plumbing systems.
  • Respond to emergency callouts and ensure all properties are maintained to a high standard.
  • Coordinate with external contractors to meet business needs.
  • Identify and report defects, ensuring maintenance standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
  • Full driving license, valid in the UK.
  • Valid domestic and commercial gas qualifications.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
  • Proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Flexible outlook towards working hours.
  • Strong knowledge of current health and safety practices.
Desirable Qualifications
  • F-Gas certification.
  • Fault finding and maintenance experience in heating systems.
  • Experience with air handling and fan coil units.
  • First aid training.
  • Valid qualifications in air conditioning, refrigeration, and catering equipment.
  • 18th edition electrical certification and experience.
