About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Amnesty International UK as an Executive Assistant to the Director of Activism & Education. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support to the Director, ensuring the smooth operation of their department and contributing to the achievement of the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Director, including managing their schedule, coordinating meetings, and preparing correspondence.
  • Develop and maintain administrative systems to ensure efficient and effective departmental operations.
  • Represent the Director in internal and external communications, including liaising with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Support the Director in preparing for and attending meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and other documentation.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in providing high-level administrative support to senior leaders.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
