Senior National Account Manager

MacGregor Black is seeking a seasoned Senior National Account Manager to join our team and drive business growth in the grocery retail sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts, focusing on grocers and major UK retailers.
  • Design and implement sales strategies tailored to grocers and key retailers to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth within the grocery and retail sectors.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and promotions with major retail and grocery partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on account strategies and execution.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
  • Manage account budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Develop and execute promotional activities and campaigns to drive product visibility and sales.
Requirements
  • Strong account management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in the toy/gifting industry.
  • Experience within licensing and working with grocers.
  • Strategic mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in developing accounts and winning new business.
