About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic clinical pharmacist to join our team as a Senior Support Pharmacist Healthcare of Older People. This is a band 6 to 7 development role which involves working as a Clinical Support Pharmacist based at a single site in our rotational programme.
Main Responsibilities
You will deliver a high-quality specialist clinical pharmacy service, with a strong emphasis on supporting you in developing leadership and mentoring skills to the next level. You will be introduced to core directorate activities, including reporting and analysis of medicines expenditure, clinical governance, and risk management activities. You will also have the opportunity to train clinically to provide a neonatal intensive care service and neonatal parenteral nutrition.

Person Specification
We are looking for a pharmacist with a vocational Masters degree in pharmacy, or equivalent, and a postgraduate clinical pharmacy qualification. You will also need to be willing to work towards a non-medical prescribing qualification and have membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). You should have post-registration work experience as a pharmacist in hospital pharmacy, covering a range of specialties, or the ability to demonstrate the equivalent level of knowledge.
