Position Overview

As an Insurance Financial Operations Manager, you will oversee the financial operations of Saga Services Limited (SSL) within our Insurance Finance division.


Your primary responsibility will be managing the month-end financial processes, which encompass all facets of general ledger accounting and reporting.


You will collaborate closely with the Record to Report (R2R) team and the broader Financial Reporting & Control (FR&C) team.


Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be accountable for the timely production and delivery of all internal and external financial reporting obligations. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Preparation of statutory financial statements and management of SSL's balance sheet.
  • Liaising with both internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Contributing to the enhancement of financial processes and the quality of financial data.


Collaboration is essential at Saga, and our Insurance Finance team engages in regular meetings to foster teamwork and communication.


Compensation and Benefits

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with substantial experience in the insurance sector. Key attributes include:

  • Experience in external financial reporting and statutory account preparation.
