The Assistant Manager, Sales Operations for the EU and UK regions will manage a team of three Sales Operations Coordinators. This role involves ensuring that all orders are processed within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and accurately entered into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and customers is essential to track order progress and achieve monthly sales forecasts. Building and managing relationships with customers' Supply Chain and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) teams is a critical responsibility. The role includes designing and establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sales order management and ensuring compliance across teams. Proactive communication with Commercial, Retail Partners, and Third-Party Vendors is necessary to keep stakeholders updated on order progression. The Assistant Manager will lead month-end processes to close financial books, adjusting open sales orders and ensuring invoicing of shipped orders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of Sales Operations Coordinators to ensure efficient order processing and compliance with SLAs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to track order progress and achieve sales forecasts.
- Design and establish SOPs for sales order management and ensure compliance across teams.
- Build and manage relationships with customers' Supply Chain and EDI teams.
- Communicate proactively with Commercial, Retail Partners, and Third-Party Vendors to keep stakeholders updated on order progression.
- Lead month-end processes to close financial books, adjusting open sales orders and ensuring invoicing of shipped orders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Over three years of progressive experience in Customer Operations, Order Management, or Supply Chain.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial sense and solid understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
