Position Overview

What Are We Seeking?

Our Electrical Operations division is in search of a Senior Site Engineering Manager to become an integral part of our team on a full-time, permanent basis, focusing on clean water and wastewater projects. In this role, you will oversee all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while meeting client expectations and identifying future project requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead a team of skilled tradespeople, apprentices, and subcontractors, directing and assigning tasks while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Prepare comprehensive site reports, conduct testing and inspections, deliver safety briefings, and ensure regular audits are performed.
  • Oversee all practical work relevant to your specific trade expertise.
  • Engage with both external and internal stakeholders to ensure all tasks align with customer specifications.
  • Ensure regular maintenance of all equipment and machinery.
  • Complete all necessary administrative tasks and documentation in accordance with company and client protocols.
  • Keep Project Engineers/Managers informed of any additional or upcoming work requirements on-site.
  • Act as a representative of the company, ensuring client satisfaction with all completed work.

Qualifications Required:

  • Fully qualified and time-served in an electrical discipline.
  • 18th Edition certification is preferred.
  • Experience with COMPEX is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility in work assignments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
