What Are We Seeking?
Our Electrical Operations division is in search of a Senior Site Engineering Specialist to become an integral part of our team on a full-time, permanent basis, focusing on clean water and wastewater projects. In this role, you will oversee all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while meeting client expectations and effectively communicating any future project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of skilled tradespeople, apprentices, and subcontractors, directing and assigning tasks while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and safety.
- Prepare site documentation, conduct testing and inspections, deliver safety briefings, and ensure regular audits are performed.
- Take charge of all hands-on trade-related tasks relevant to your specific trade qualifications.
- Engage with both external and internal stakeholders to ensure all work aligns with customer specifications.
- Oversee the regular maintenance of all equipment and machinery.
- Complete all necessary administrative tasks and documentation in accordance with company and client protocols.
- Keep Project Engineers/Managers informed of any additional or upcoming work requirements on-site.
- Act as a representative of the organization at all times, ensuring client satisfaction with the services provided.
Qualifications Required:
- Fully qualified and time-served in an electrical discipline.
- Possession of 18th Edition certification is preferred.
- Experience with COMPEX is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility in work assignments is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
- A valid UK Driving Licence is required.
