You will collaborate with experienced professionals to ensure the successful execution of projects within the Water sector across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct testing of electrical systems and continuity of circuits in wiring, equipment, and fixtures, utilizing testing devices to guarantee system compatibility and safety.
  • Identify and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, employing test equipment and hand tools to determine the cause of breakdowns and implement corrective measures.
  • Perform maintenance or repairs on electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures at heights, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Examine electrical systems, equipment, and components to detect hazards, defects, and the necessity for adjustments or repairs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes.
  • Provide management with recommendations regarding the safety of continued equipment operation.
  • Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with job specifications and industry standards.

Qualifications Required

  • Fully qualified electrician with expertise in maintaining various types of electrical equipment and components.
  • Current ECS Grading Card (BS 7671 Training, Approved Health and Safety Assessment).
  • Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials typical to the electrical trade.
  • Understanding of applicable electrical standards and regulations.
  • Certification in the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations.
  • Experience in the Water industry is advantageous, though candidates from heavy industry backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Possession of an EUSR Ticket.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
