Senior Clean Water (Hydraulic) Modeller

We are seeking experienced Senior Clean Water (Hydraulic) Modellers to enhance our Water Consultancy division. Our mission is to cultivate talent, promote environmental sustainability, and foster a positive work culture.

Our comprehensive suite of water services encompasses strategy formulation, business planning assistance, solution innovation, testing, optimization, and design, all grounded in our extensive knowledge of hydraulic and water quality modelling . We are actively looking for professionals with a background in Water Engineering to join our team across various levels of expertise.

About The Team:

By joining our Clean Water (Hydraulic) Modelling Team, you will contribute to a prestigious consultancy framework focused on optimizing and maintaining hydraulic modelling resources.

We are in search of hydraulic modellers at different experience levels to support a diverse range of water initiatives, including optioneering, detailed design, and asset condition evaluation.

You will collaborate with a skilled hydraulic team to assist our design group, conduct zonal studies, and develop solutions for various water engineering projects. This initiative will extend into future phases, ensuring a stable career trajectory.

About You:

We are looking for driven engineering professionals who are passionate about problem-solving and possess Water Industry experience in the following areas:

  • Proficiency in water engineering and network analysis, facilitating the delivery of specialized, complex, or innovative projects while ensuring compliance with client and design standards.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, providing technical guidance to junior colleagues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage collaboratively with clients.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Knowledge of GIS Systems (MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • Experience with water modelling software such as InfoWorks WS Pro, Synergi, or similar.
  • A valid clean driving license, as site visits may be necessary.
  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • Coding experience is advantageous but not mandatory (Ruby, Python, etc.).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical development and execution of clean water modelling projects, engaging in all phases including scoping, model construction, maintenance, zonal studies, and design support.
  • Prepare detailed technical and analytical reports.
  • Collaborate within multi-disciplinary project teams to establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and other disciplines.
  • Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Conduct client meetings to discuss project progress and requirements.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables and adherence to client specifications.
  • Maintain awareness of and compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout projects.
