Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Modeller to join our team. As a key member of our water environment team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing numerical models to support our clients' projects. Your expertise will be essential in helping us to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement numerical models to support flood risk management, water quality, and coastal processes projects
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
  • Conduct data analysis and interpretation to inform model development and project outcomes
  • Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in numerical modeling

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in a field such as civil engineering, environmental science, or mathematics
  • Experience with numerical modeling software such as InfoWorks ICM, MIKE suite, or Flood Modeller Pro
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
