About the Role

The Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse/Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our clinical trials team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing clinical trials, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and research excellence.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage clinical trials, including patient recruitment, data collection, and trial management
  • Work closely with research nurses, clinicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless trial execution
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with trial sponsors, investigators, and other external partners
  • Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research governance requirements
  • Collaborate with the research team to develop and implement research protocols and study designs
  • Provide education and training to research staff on clinical trials and research governance
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research strategies and plans

Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with experience in clinical research or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of clinical trials, research governance, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency in clinical trial management systems
