Role Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the way businesses think and operate. As a Business Development Representative, you will be the face of the brand, responsible for building relationships with senior executives in customer and prospect accounts. Your primary objective will be to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through strategic outreach and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to engage with 60+ prospects daily via phone, email, and other forms of communication.
  • Participate in team learning opportunities and personal development initiatives to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Research and build new and existing accounts, including adding contacts, sending emails, and strategic calling.
  • Represent Splunk at trade shows and conferences to further evangelize our brand and products to customers and new prospects.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a professional environment, preferably with experience on the phone or public speaking.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • High ethical and moral standards, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a high energy and positive attitude.
  • Ability to meet and exceed achievable targets, with motivation, drive, and a self-starting attitude.
  • CRM or sales experience a plus, with articulate and excellent follow-up skills.
  • Strong desire to move up in other sales functions at Splunk.
