Role Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to be the face of the brand and help prospects become customers of Splunk. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for conducting high-level conversations with senior executives in customer and prospect accounts, researching and building new and existing accounts, and representing Splunk at trade shows and conferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives in customer and prospect accounts
  • Research and build new and existing accounts
  • Represent Splunk at trade shows and conferences
  • Actively participate in and add to team learning opportunities and personal development
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a professional environment (experience on phone or public speaking preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • High ethical and moral standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Ability to meet and exceed achievable targets
  • Motivation, drive, and a self-starting attitude
  • CRM or Salesforce.com experience a plus
