Job Overview:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a skilled and dedicated Supply Teacher to join our team in North West England. As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with students of different age groups and subjects, providing engaging and effective lessons that cater to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Delivery: Implement lesson plans provided by regular classroom teachers, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of learning.
  • Classroom Management: Manage classroom behavior, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and well-being.
  • Feedback and Progress: Provide regular feedback to regular teachers on student progress and behavior, helping to identify areas of improvement and celebrate successes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication among teaching staff.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a valid DBS check.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.
  • Experience: Prior experience in teaching or working with students is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Specialized Training: Additional training in special education or teaching English as a second language is desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with remote or online teaching platforms is an asset.
Working Conditions:
  • School Setting: Work in a school setting with classroom and outdoor activities.
  • Travel: May require travel to different schools within the region.
  • Hours: Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend work for school events.
