About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Store Colleague at Tesco. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and service targets, maintaining a high level of store standards and presentation.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer payments and operating the till system.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and secure store environment, adhering to health and safety procedures and reporting any incidents or concerns.
- Develop relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide personalized service.
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of the store, including working varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
