About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Tesco Colleague. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.
Availability Window
Our store operates from Monday to Friday, with availability windows between 22:00 and 07:00. We require our colleagues to be available during these times to ensure we can meet the needs of our customers.
What We Offer
As a Tesco Colleague, you will benefit from a competitive hourly rate, starting at £12.02, with opportunities for pay increases. You will also receive a night premium of £2.30 per hour worked between midnight and 6am. In addition, you will have access to a range of benefits, including holiday pay, flexible working, and discounts on Tesco products.
Your Responsibilities
As a Tesco Colleague, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a great shopping experience for our customers
- Working across the store in our service, picking, and replenishment areas
- Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition
- Being knowledgeable about your store's performance and understanding the part you play in driving service and sales
- Participating in seasonal, community, and charity events to create a great inclusive atmosphere
- Being yourself, living our values, and making everyone feel welcome
