The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) is seeking a Senior Business Improvement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Operational Services Directorate, you will play a critical role in driving business improvement and change initiatives across the organization.

As a Senior Business Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of business improvement activities and supporting change initiatives within the Operational Services Directorate. You will work closely with colleagues across the DBS, including the corporate change function, and external suppliers to ensure improvement and change is embedded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business improvement activities and support change initiatives within the Operational Services Directorate.
  • Develop and implement business improvement plans and strategies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to address them.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver business improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business improvement initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Proven experience in business improvement and change management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
