Job Summary

The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Improvement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Operational Services Directorate, you will play a critical role in driving business improvement and change initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business improvement strategies to enhance service delivery and reduce costs.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Design and implement new business processes and procedures to support organizational goals.
  • Develop and manage business cases to support change initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with corporate strategies and plans.
  • Manage and maintain a central point of contact for business improvement and change activity.
  • Work with the Corporate Change Management and Business Improvement Teams to manage and embed improvement and change activity.
  • Lead business analysis activities to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in business improvement and change management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Knowledge of Adult and Children Safeguarding.
  • Good skills in Microsoft 365 Packages such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Teams.
