SS&C Financial Services - Investment Operations Role

The UK Institutional Outsourcing team at SS&C Financial Services is seeking an experienced Investment Operations Analyst to support their Wealth Management clients. This position will be based in our Central London office, working with a team that provides back office operations, accounting, performance, and reporting support to Asset Management, Insurance, Wealth Management, and Alternative Fund clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and managing daily and monthly tasks related to the trade and investment lifecycle of a wealth management client.
  • Assisting the team with the monitoring and processing of corporate actions, trade settlements, reconciliations, client reporting, securities pricing, account maintenance, and daily controls.
  • Monitoring and management of issues related to investment and trade lifecycle across multiple markets.
  • Assisting with the daily monitoring, instructing, and processing of corporate actions, through the full life cycle.
  • Daily reconciliation of investment portfolios versus custodian banks.
  • Verify and maintain security and portfolio, static and dynamic data.
  • Address ad hoc inquiries from the client/custodian banks, including wealth-related topics, trade support, and reporting.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of previous investment operations experience within Middle Office or Back Office, preferably within the Wealth Management, Investment Management, or Operations Outsourcing Industry.
  • 2 years of previous experience with investment corporate action event life-cycle.
  • Experience working in a time-sensitive investment operations environment.
  • Strong knowledge of a range of asset classes, such as Equity, Fixed Income, Collectives, and Derivatives.
  • Investment life cycle knowledge.
  • Knowledge of SQL database queries would be beneficial.
