About the Role:
As a highly motivated Senior Investment Associate at HarbourVest Partners, you will play a critical role in supporting our Private Markets team in driving fundraising efforts. This is a high-visibility role within the organization, requiring a unique blend of data analytics, communication, and operational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Support and Enablement: Deliver actionable insights on investment prospects and clients to Investment Managers, support Investment leadership with fundraising reporting and analysis, lead pipeline reviews to measure and assess the health of the investment pipeline, and support fundraising processes with email campaigns and account planning.
- Product Specialist Support and Enablement: Partner with product specialists on pipeline build-out and prospect targeting analysis, provide fundraising reporting and analytics to monitor and manage the investment pipeline, conduct post-close analysis and pipeline clean up, and provide training and share best practices for investment applications.
Requirements:
- Strong Analytical Skills: Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills, with the ability to tell compelling stories with data.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive results.
- Operational Expertise: Expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in CRM platforms and sales and marketing analysis.
- Market Knowledge: Familiarity with market data tools such as Nasdaq eVestments, Preqin, and Pitchbook, and experience with Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
Education and Experience:
- Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Private Markets, Asset Management, or Financial Services, with prior experience in Investor Relations, Sales Strategy/Operations, or Marketing preferred.
