About the Role

Viasat is seeking a Programme Manager to lead the development of scalable and flexible beyond-line-of-sight communication solutions for regional operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for disseminating mission system data in real-time from airborne platforms to key end-users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop capture plans for individual opportunities covered by the capture programmes, ensuring coordination with key stakeholders, including sales, technical, and commercial teams.
  • Drive specific initiatives, such as customer journey mapping, to understand customers' requirements and hot buttons, and ensure the right technical and commercial solutions are developed to address these requirements.
  • Implement methodical work planning and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of the capture plan and provide management information to ensure visibility of work progress.
  • Define key performance metrics, dependencies, and risks to track the execution and measure the success of the overall capture plans, including the progress of sales opportunities towards revenue capture.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a programme management customer-related role within the aeronautical market or related industry, preferably in a Business to Government industry context.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
